In person classes at Rajshahi University has been suspended for two more weeks following the government decision to extend the closure of educational institutions across the country.
In a statement on Thursday, the university authorities said that as per a circular issued by the Cabinet Division on January 21, in-person classes will remain suspended from February 7 to February 21.
However, respective departments may continue online classes, the statement added.
Moreover, office hours of the university have also been rescheduled and it will run from 9am to 2pm.
Emergency services such as gas, water supply, internet will be available on the campus, according to the statement.
The government extended the closure of educational institutions amid the rising cases of Covid-19 cases and deaths in the country.
