A total of 2,92,000 students have applied online to participate in this year's cluster entrance examinations to 22 general and science and technology public universities.
The application for the admission test for 2021-22 academic year of the 22 universities was completed on Saturday 11:59pm.
Prof Dr Md Nasim Akhtar, joint convener of the technical committee of the cluster admission test and the vice-chancellor of Chandpur Science and Technology University, confirmed the matter to Bangla Tribune on Sunday morning.

He said: "Our application is over. Among the applicants, 160,000 students have applied for the ‘A’ unit of the Faculty of Science, 90,000 applied in the ‘B’ unit of the Faculty of Humanities and 42,000 in the ‘C’ unit of the Faculty of Business Studies.”
The examination of “A” unit will be held on July 30, the “B” unit on August 13 and “C” unit on August 20.

Admission tests will be held in 10 general public universities and 12 science and technology universities in Bangladesh in cluster system.
