The restriction will be effective from 7:00am to 11:00am and from 12:00pm to 8:30pm to keep the roads free from traffic congestion, according to an press release of Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR).
All citizens have been requested to avoid the roads through the cantonment area - except for cantonment residents and guests invited to different programmes to be held on the day.
The Armed Forces Division said it "regrets the inconvenience caused by the restriction".
Separately, another ISPR press release says the Bangladesh Navy will keep its ships open for visitors in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Chittagong, Khulna, Mongla, Barisal and Chandpur from 2:00pm to 4:30pm on the day.
