Military medical services hold neurosciences seminar

The Directorate General of Military Medical Services (DGMS) organised a seminar on neuroscience at the Armed Forces Medical Institute in Dhaka Cantonment on Sunday. The Army Chief General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq, as the chief guest, inaugurated the programme, says a press release of Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). Prof Timothy Lee Kam Yiu, a neurosurgeon of Gleneagles Hospital in Singapore, attended the seminar titled “Healthy Brain,Healthy Nation” as the special guest. The seminar was organised with an aim to provide better treatment to patients of the armed forces, who are suffering from neurological disease, and introduce them to the use of modern technology to prevent the ailment. Chaired by DGMS Director General Major General SM Motahar Hossain, the seminar was held in two segments--- neuro-medicine and  neurosurgery.
