The 'July Warriors', an organization formed by the victims of the July movement, has issued a 48-hour ultimatum demanding the ban of the Awami League.

This declaration was made by the organization's leaders following a protest march on Saturday, during which they gathered in front of the Raju Sculpture at Dhaka University, reports Bangla Tribune.

If a decision to ban the party is not made within this timeframe, they have announced plans to block Dhaka city.

During the rally, the injured participants outlined their demands, stating that within 48 hours, there must be a declaration or decision regarding the ban of the Awami League from the office of the Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.

If no commitment is made within this period, the injured and the families of martyrs from across the country will continue their sit-in at the Central Shaheed Minar.

The sit-in will remain in place until the Awami League is banned.

Additionally, the group demanded the withdrawal of the statement made by the chief adviser.

The leaders also stressed the need for all advisers, including the chief adviser and the law adviser, to clarify their positions on the matter of banning the Awami League.

They warned that anyone attempting to rehabilitate the Awami League would lose their power.

Any political party that attempts to rehabilitate the Awami League will face the same consequences as the party itself, the leaders added.
