A dialogue between the Khelafat Majlish and the National Consensus Commission has taken place with the aim of creating a consensus on reform issues.
The second day of dialogue with political parties was held on Saturday morning in the LD Hall of the National Parliament House.
The dialogue was attended by Professor Ali Riaz, Vice President of the National Consensus Commission, along with members– Safar Raj Hossain, Justice Md Emdadul Haque, Dr Iftekharuzzaman, Dr Badiul Alam Majumder, and Special Assistant to the Chief Advisor, Monir Haider.
The eight-member delegation from Khelafat Majlish was led by its Secretary General, Dr Ahmad Abdul Kader.
Other members included– the party’s Nayeb-e-Amir Maulana Ahmad Ali Kasemi, Joint Secretary General Dr Mostafizur Rahman Faisal, Joint Secretary General Professor Md Abdul Jalil, Joint Secretary General ABM Sirajul Mamun, Organizational Secretary Advocate Md Mizanur Rahman, Organizational Secretary Professor Kazi Minhazul Alam, and the party's Publicity and Information Secretary Engineer Abdul Hafiz Khasru.

The National Consensus Commission, chaired by Interim Chief Advisor Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus, was formed with the objective of building a national consensus on reforms. The commission began its activities on February 15.
In the first phase, several reform commissions were formed, including the Constitution Reform Commission, Public Administration Reform Commission, Electoral System Reform Commission, Judiciary Reform Commission, and Anti-Corruption Commission Reform Commission
Political parties were requested to provide their specific opinions on the key recommendations mentioned in the reports of these commissions by March 13, and the recommendations were sent in spreadsheet format to 38 political parties. So far, the commission has received opinions from 16 political parties.
