The name of the "Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib" Hall at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) has been changed to "Shadhinata Hall."
This decision was made in the 549th syndicate meeting on Wednesday.
The directive was issued on Thursday through an official order signed by Registrar Professor Dr NM Golam Zakaria.
The official order states that, as per the decision of the 549th meeting of the university's Syndicate held on Wednesday, the name of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall has been changed to Shadhinata Hall.
