Train services on the Dhaka-Padma Bridge route resumed at 3pm on Friday after battery-powered rickshaw drivers vacated the roads in Jurain, Dhaka.
The information was confirmed by an official on duty at the control room.
Earlier, train operations on the route had been suspended since 11:20am.
Kamalapur Railway Station Master Mohammad Anwar Hossain said: "Train services were halted for safety reasons as auto-rickshaw drivers blocked the railway tracks."
Railway officials reported that the blockade disrupted train operations on the Dhaka-Narayanganj route and the Dhaka-Padma Bridge route.
Earlier on Friday afternoon, battery-powered rickshaw drivers staged a protest, blocking both the roads and railway tracks in Jurain. This caused delays for two trains.
The protest also led to clashes between demonstrators and law enforcement.
The protesters demanded the withdrawal of the High Court's directive banning auto-rickshaws, insisting that they would continue their movement until permission to operate was granted.
