Metro rail operation on Agargaon-Motijheel section suspended

Metro rail operations on Agargaon-Motijheel section was suspended again on Monday afternoon. 

MAN Siddique, managing director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd, confirmed the matter.

The operation came to a halt around 5pm following a weak signal, said the official.

He also said efforts are being carried out to find out the problem."

However, Uttara-Agargaon section remains operational.

Earlier in the morning, the operations were suspended for one and a half hours due to problems in power service on the Uttara-Motijheel line.
