The top 10 winners of the "Metro Rail Photography Contest" received awards at a ceremony on Wednesday.
The winners are Abdullah Al Mamun, Tamim e Muhammad Ghazi Muhammad Nazmus Saqib, Tariqul Islam, Shubo Sarwar, Abu Bandhar Siddique, Ramzan Hiru, Rajib Rana Das and Sagar Pradhan.
Five judges selected the 10 best photographs and announced the winners’ names recently.
Prizes were distributed among the winners in the presence of officials from the Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority - DTCA (Rapid Pass).
A Facebook platform named “MetroRail Passengers Community – DHAKA” organized the competition to encourage people to use the metro rail. DTCA sponsored the competition.
About 200 photographers participated in this competition which is the first such photography competition is in Bangladesh.
