The ULAB Kaleidoscope Club, an initiative of the Centre for Enterprise and Society (CES), ULAB, announced the successful completion of an educational field trip on Thursday that has provided students with a profound understanding of the cultural and religious fabric of Bangladesh.
The trip allowed students to witness different faith traditions, immerse themselves in vibrant cultural practices, and uncover the historical significance of three sites – Dhakeshwari National Temple, Armenian Church Dhaka, and Dharmarajika Buddhist Monastery Complex, according to a press release issued on Monday.
The field trip was organized with the objective of fostering tolerance, mutual respect, and interfaith harmony.

The students showcased exceptional open-mindedness, embracing the diverse perspectives they encountered and cultivating a genuine appreciation for the rich tapestry of cultures and faiths in Bangladesh.
At the Dhakeshwari National Temple, the ULAB students had the privilege of witnessing the devotion and rituals that are central to the Hindu faith. The vibrant atmosphere and spiritual ambiance of the Armenian Church Dhaka offered them a glimpse into the historical presence of the Armenian community in the region.
Finally, at the Dharmarajika Buddhist Monastery Complex, the students immersed themselves in the peaceful teachings of Buddhism, connecting with the serenity of this sacred place.
“The ULAB Kaleidoscope Club remains committed to promoting intercultural understanding, celebrating diversity, and fostering a sense of unity in Bangladesh. By providing students with opportunities to explore different cultural and religious practices, we aim to create a more inclusive and harmonious society,” says the release.
