The train service on Dhaka-Narayanganj route has been suspended from December 4 due to the ongoing construction of three separate railway lines in the Dhaka to Gandaria section under the Padma Bridge Rail Link Project.
This information was made in a notice from Bangladesh Railways on Wednesday.
According to the notice, Bangladesh Railway has decided to suspend all trains plying on the Dhaka-Narayanganj route from December 4, 2022 in order to complete the project quickly.
Train service will resume on the route soon after the work is completed, said the notice.
Bangladesh Railway sincerely apologizes for the temporary inconvenience caused to the passengers.
