A three-member probe body has been formed to investigate the explosion inside the Pallabi police station in Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
Md Walid Hossain, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), said the committee was formed with DMP’s Joint Commissioner (operation) Md Monir Hossain as its head.
Two other members of the committee are Mahmuda Afroj Lucky, additional deputy commissioner of DMP Mirpur division, and Md Rahmat Ullah, additional deputy commissioner of DMP’s Special Action Group.
The committee will submit their findings within three working days, he added.

Five people, including four policemen, were injured in the explosion.
The injured policemen are -- Inspector (operation) Imran, Sub-Inspector Sajib Khan, two probationary sub-inspectors (PSI) Rumi and Ankush, and a civilian named Riaz.
The explosion took place at around 6am when a weight-machine like object went off at the police station, leaving the policemen injured, Walid told the press earlier.
