A crude bomb was thrown into the compound of Pallabi police station from an adjacent flyover in Dhaka on Sunday night.
The incident occurred at around 8:15pm.
The perpetrators have yet to be identified.
Pallabi police station Duty Officer Ibrahim Khalil said senior police officials were looking into the incident.
CCTV footage from nearby cameras would be examined to identify those responsible, he added.
Earlier in the day, four separate crude bomb explosions were reported at different locations on the Dhaka University campus around 6:30pm.
