Intern doctors of Sir Salimullah Medical College's Dental Unit, in a written statement on Saturday, have decided to refrain from providing services (Dental Unit) from March 21, 2020, amid growing concern over the safety of healthcare professionals in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak.
Intern Doctors Council's (Dental Unit) President Dr Tanvir Islam Sagor, and Secretary General Dr Ashraf Saad Piyash said, in the statement, that the hospital authorities have failed to provide adequate safety gears and equipments to frontline medical practitioners.
