Coronavirus: Pathway distributes free masks among students

The organization distributed five thousand masks, free of cost, and various types of coronavirus related precaution signs, placards, and festoons

The private development organization, Pathway, is distributing free masks among disadvantaged people and children to help control the spread of coronavirus. 

The organization distributed five thousand masks, free of cost, to students of two institutions. They also distributed various types of coronavirus related precaution signs, placards, and festoons.

Social Services Officer of the Department of Social Services Sohiduzzaman, and Pathway’s Executive Director MD. Shahin took part in the mask distribution program.

Shahin said the private sector will have to come forward to help the government in raising public awareness for the good of the country. 

That is precisely what Pathway is trying to do, he added.

According to the World Health Organization, coronavirus has spread to more than 100 countries from China’s Wuhan, causing deaths in excess of seven thousand. 

Although no one has died in Bangladesh so far, 10 cases have been confirmed.
