Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal has said he is not a loan defaulter.
“As a businessman I am not a loan defaulter but people defamed me owing to defaulted loans in the banking sector," Kamal said on Thursday.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at "Branch Managers’ Conference 2020" of Bangladesh Development Bank Limited (BDBL) at its head office, Dhaka.
The finance minister said, not only in Bangladesh, the economic condition worldwide is not in a good condition. “We will overcome the situation soon.”
