Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday joined a post-budget dinner hosted by Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka.
On her arrival at the venue, the prime minister was received by Kamal.
Later, Sheikh Hasina accompanied by the finance minister went round different tables and exchanged pleasantries with the guests.
Speaker of the parliament, deputy leader of the parliament, cabinet members, PM's advisers, state ministers, whips and parliament members, among others, were present.

The finance minister moved the Appropriations Bill-2023 passed unanimously by voice vote.
The parliament passed the Finance Bill-2023, with some major changes as proposed by the finance minister to the original one placed before the House at the time of the presentation of the budget for FY23-24 on June 1 last.
With the passage of both the Appropriation Bill-2023 and the Money Bill-2023, the national budget of Tk7,61,785 crore for the 2023-24 fiscal year will effect from July 1.
