Final day of HSC test exams turns out to be Badal’s last alive

A college student has been killed and another injured after being hit by a battery-run auto rickshaw.

The incident took place in front of Nawabganj University College in Dhaka when the duo was leaving the college on a motorbike around 1pm on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified at Tanvir Rahman Badal, 18, an HSC student at the college. 

He was the son of Wahidur Rahman of the Nawabganj area.

The duty doctors at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) declared Tanvir dead around 5pm, confirmed DMCH police outpost In-Charge Bachchu Miah.

The body has been kept at the DMC morgue for an autopsy, Bachchu added.

The deceased’s cousin Arman said Tanvir was returning home after attending his last HSC test exam.
