At least 25 students of Dhaka Medical College have been injured in a clash centring a cricket match.
The incident occurred at Dr Fazle Rabbi Hall in Dhaka's Bakshi Bazar on Friday noon.
Of the injured, 12 were treated at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
Confirming the matter, DMCH police outpost Inspector Bacchu Mia said: "Two groups of students had an altercation over a cricket match played at the hall’s playground which later led to the clash.
"Following the incident, 12 students were rushed to the hospital in the afternoon."
