The body of madrasa student Nusrat Jahan Rafi has been handed over to her family.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Director Murad Islam told the Dhaka Tribune: "Nusrat's body has been handed over to her family. We have also provided an ambulance to carry her body to her village home.
"A three-member team performed the autopsy. Further DNA and biological tests will be done, after which we will release a report."
Her Namaz-e-Janaza is set to be held after the Asr prayer on the Mohammad Saber Pilot High School grounds in Sonagazi upazila. She will be laid to eternal rest beside her grandmother’s grave at her native home Uttar Charsandia.
Nusrat was set on fire by unknown miscreants on April 6 and later died at DMCH after battling her 80% burn injuries for five days.

The teenage madrasa student from Feni’s Sonagazi upazila passed away around 9:30pm on Wednesday after her condition deteriorated critically.
Nusrat’s family says the girl was set on fire by supporters of Sonagazi Islamia Fazil (Degree) Madrasa Principal, Sirajuddaula, on the institute’s roof on April 6, for previously lodging a rape attempt case against him.
Chairman of National Human Rights Commission in Bangladesh (NHRC), Kazi Rezaul Hoque, has asked the government to observe the day of Nusrat's death as Nusrat Day.
The NHRC chief was talking to the media after visiting the forensic department at DMCH.
“Nusrat protested. She did not bow her head to principle’s sexual offer. The day should be remembered as Nusrat Day,” he said.
He added that said criminals nowadays do not fear being placed on remand.
