2 domestic helps sued over ex-Eden College principal murder

Police are yet to arrest the duo

A case has been filed against two domestic helps in connection with murder of Mahfuza Chowdhury Parvin, former principal of Eden Girls’ College.

The accused are Reshma, 30 and Swapna, 36. They had gone into hiding after the murder incident,

Victim’s husband Ismat Quadir Gama, vice-chairman of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad, filed the case on Monday, Officer-in-Charge of New Market police station Atiqur Rahman said.

Deputy Police Commissioner Maruf Hossain Sarder of Ramna Zone said they are trying to arrest the two domestic helps.

Police recovered the body of Mahfuza Chowdhury Parvin from her apartment at Sukanya Tower at Elephant Road on Sunday night.
