A student from North South University (NSU) has been killed in a road accident in Dhaka’s Hatirjheel area.
The deceased is Fahim Rafi, 20, son of Moniruzzaman from south Bashabo in Sabujbagh and a student of the Department of Economics in NSU.
According to witnesses, the accident occurred when he was getting off a bus around 8pm on Friday night, reports UNB.
Locals took Fahim to Khidmah Hospital after the accident and informed his parents.
On information, Fahim's father went there and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), where he died around 10pm.
DMCH police outpost in-charge Sub-Inspector (SI) Bachchu Mia said: "The body has been kept in the morgue."
