A five-storey residential building in Dhaka’s Lalbagh area has tilted towards the adjoining high-rise building next to it.
Confirming the matter to the Dhaka Tribune, Lalbagh police station Officer-in-charge Subash Kumar Paul said: “The building located at Jagannath Saha Road, adjacent to Lalbagh Fort leaned on another high-rise building around 2pm on Sunday.”
On information, police and a unit of firefighters rushed to the spot and evacuated all the residents from both the buildings, the OC said.
No casualty was reported in this regard.
