A 14-year-old girl has been slaughtered at Malatinagar area in Bogra city on Thursday night.
The teenager could not be identified.
Bogra Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Gaziur Rahman said: “The girl's body dumped in a ditch after the murder, so it was not possible to understand if she was raped.”
Bogra Sadar police station Assistant Sub-Inspector Jahirul Islam said: “The girl was probably in a relationship with a boy from the area.”
“It was not possible to determine how many people were involved in the killing,” he said.
