A Jubo League leader was found dead in Kafrul in the capital on early Thursday.
The Jubo League leader was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 26, a local Jubo League leader in Kafrul and also a tea vendor.
Mizanur was the son of Nuru Miah of Char Muladi in Brisal.
He was a resident of Senpara in Mirpur Sction-10 and a leader of local unit of Jubo League in Kafrul.
Delwar Hossain, a maternal uncle of Mizanur said: “Mizanur used to return home within 12:30am but last night he did not return home.”
“Later, his body was found near his shop at Kafrul around 6:30am.”
Inspector Abdul Qaiyum, officer-in-charge of Kafrul police station, said: “Mizanur was a leader of local Jubo League and also a tea vendor.”
“We are trying to find out the mystery behind the murder and arrest the killers”, the OC said.
