Police have detained two youths with a pistol at Bhogra Adepasha area in Gazipur early Monday.
The detainees are Sohel Rana, 22, son of late Hassan Mia and Somir Mia, 20, son of Shohidul Islam of Bhogra Adepasha area.
Bhogra police camp In-Charge Sub-Inspector Iqramul Hoque said: “Acting on a tip off, we conducted a drive at the house of some Ahammad Ali and detained the youths at 2:30am.”
He said: “They have been shown arrest in a case filed under arms act and sent to jail.”
