DB Police have sealed off a fake insecticides producing factory and held 2 people along with huge quantity of fake insecticides from Ranigram area under Sirajganj municipality.
The arrestees are Nazrul Islam and Abdul Gaffar, of the same area.
A mobile court led by Executive Magistrate Jainal Abedin has sentenced them 6 months imprisonment on charge of illegal production of insecticides for animals without government permission.
Later, DB police have destroyed all the seized fake insecticides in the presence of the mobile court.
Officer-in-Charge of Sirajganj DB police Nasir Uddin said: A group of people in Ranigram area has been producing illegal insecticides for animals and selling them in different areas including, Tangali and Dhaka.
