A youth has been imprisoned for six months for harassing a schoolgirl in Pakundia upazila of Kishoreganj.
Mobarak Hossain, 21, son of Abdul Latif from the upazila said to have made an indecent approach to the victim girl on Sunday afternoon.
Hearing cries of help, locals rushed to the spot near Baharam Khan Pasha High School and caught the youth red-handed, locals said.
The youth was handed over to Pakundia Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Executive Magistrate Mosharraf Hossain immediately.
The youth was handed down six months of imprisonment on the spot.
