A Faridpur court on Wednesday sentenced two members of banned militant outfit Ansarullah Bangla Team to 14 years of rigorous imprisonment.
Special Judge Md Motiar Rahman passed the order and fined them Tk20 thousand each. Failing to pay fine will result into three additional months in jail, reports BSS.
The convicted felons are Nahid Molla, 22, and Farid Mridha, 35.
Public Prosecutor Golam Rabbani said the militant duo was arrested by police on August 26, 2016 two firearms, explosives, and a magazine with four bullets.
Later, a case was filed against them under the Explosive Act 1908 at Bhanga police station.
