A Dhaka court has sentenced former Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Sitanshu Kumar Sur, also known as SK Sur Chowdhury, to three years’ imprisonment in an Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) case for failing to submit a wealth statement.
Dhaka Special Judge Court-2 Judge Ayesha Nasrin delivered the verdict on Tuesday.
ACC prosecutor Abul Kalam Azad confirmed the judgment.
