The trailer of Alia Bhatt-Varun Dhawan starrer “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” has garnered three million views on YouTube, just a week after its launch.
Directed by newcomer Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, the upcoming love story is an ode to superhit romance drama “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.”
The film’s trailer was launched on May 26. This will be the second time Varun and Alia will be seen together in a movie after “Student of the Year.” If Alia shed her image of a college-going girl by her stunning performance in “Highway” and “2 States” then Varun gained his fan following from the out-and-out comedy “Main Tera Hero,” which released early in April.
“Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania” is set to hit theatres on July 11.
