Two people have been injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw at Khalermukh Noikhai area in Sylhet on Monday afternoon.
The injured could not be identified immediately.
Sylhet Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner Md Rokonuddin confirmed about the accident to the Dhaka Tribune.
He said: “A passenger bus collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw at Khalermukh Noikhai area around 12:45am, leaving two passengers of the auto-rickshaw critically injured.”
“They are being treated at Sylhet MAG Osmani Hospital,” he added.
The additional commissioner had earlier said the two passengers had died in the accident.
Meanwhile, enraged locals blocked the road immediately after the accident.
