The minister made the remark at a meeting of the district law and order committee in Sirajganj on Sunday afternoon.
“The whole force cannot be responsible for the wrongdoings of one or two of its members. If a crime is committed by any of them, the government will take steps.
But the government will never let the image of the whole force be disgraced at anyone's intentional instigation.”
He further said BNP leader Khaleda Zia formed RAB to repress the force. But Bangabandhu's daughter Sheikh Hasina has changed RAB into an institution by making it a well organised and disciplined force.
The senior Awami League leader said RAB has earned appreciation among many as AL didn't use it politically, whereas Khaleda Zia wanted the dissolution of the force to intentionally the degrade the overall law and order situation.
Nasim also said coordinated effort and mutual cooperation is a must for the development of the country.
