At least two people have been killed and six others injured as a truck ran a jeep over in Harbag Dargah area in Chakaria on Saturday morning.
The deceased are Mohammad Idris, 50, of Harbang Kantakhali area and Helal Uddin, 20, of Harbang Pahartoli area.
Chakaria Harbang police camp In-charge SI Shohidul Islam said: “A truck ran the jeep, locally known as Chander Gari over at 7am, leaving Idris dead on the spot and injured seven other.”
Critically injured helal died on way to the hospital,said police.
