At least 30 people have been injured when a double-decker toppled over at Baliapur bus stand area on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Savar on Friday afternoon.
Witnesses said a Nabinagar-bound BRTC double-decker lost control and collided with a roadside tree at Baliapur bus stand area around 2pm.
The bus then toppled over on the highway, leaving 30 passengers injured.
Officer-in-Charge Mustafa Kamal of Savar Model police station said the injured were admitted to different local hospitals and three of them were shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital because of their critical conditions.
