The soundtracks of Ananta Jalil’s upcoming flick was released officially at a press conference yesterday at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. Ananta Jalil and Sajid Rizwan Matin, head of market communications of Grameenphone were present at the event along with a few singers and music composers of the film including Emon Saha, Shahid, Akash and Naumi.
Grameenphone has released the numbers as welcome tune and download track for it’s customers exclusively. International singers including Kailash Kher and Subhamita Banerjee have worked in a song of the movie, other singers include Bappa Mazumder, Shahid, Akash Amrito, Naumi, Tanvir Tarek and Shom Chand. The music composers of the film are Emon Saha, Akash Amrita, Tanvir Trek and Rofi, while the lyrics are written by Akash and Jahid Akbar. Shooting for the songs took place in places like Ladakh, the famous Tesselaar Tulip Garden and Gujrat, India. Very soon, the videos will also be available to the Grameenphone users.
About his work, Ananta Jalil said: “I have always tried to introduce something new to the audience and the film industry of Bangladesh. This time around, I have used Dolby Surround 7.1 sound system in ‘Most Welcome 2.’ I hope the movie enthusiasts will appreciate my effort.” Ananta also said that many filmmakers in Bangladesh falsely claim to have used Dolby Surround 5.1 in their movies and that “Most Welcome 2” is the only movie of the country with Dolby Surround 7.1 technology.
Ananta who claims that he has never used a stuntman said: “I was injured several times during the shooting for the action scenes of my movies, but I never gave up.”
The development of the film began in February 2012 as a sequel of 2012 blockbuster “Most Welcome.” Among many rumours surrounding the anticipated film, “Most Welcome 2” is said to be the most expensive film in the history of Bangla Cinema.
The film stars Ananta Jalil and Afiea Nusrat Barshaa in lead roles. Indian actors Jakie Shroff is the antagonist, while Bipasha Basu and Subhasree Ganguly will be appearing in cameo roles in the film.
The movie is set to hit the theatres during Eid.
