Fulgazi Upazila Awami League has called a dawn-to-dusk hartal for Monday demanding the arrest and punishment of the accused in the upazila chairman Ekramul Haq murder case.
The decision was taken in an emergency meeting of Fungazi Upazila Awami League, party general secretary Abdul Alim said.
He said the decision to call a hartal was a part of their regular movement demanding the arrest and trial of Ekram's killers.
The Fulgazi upazila chairman of Feni was shot and burnt to death in his car by miscreants in the district town on May 20.
