Police have recovered four firearms and seven rounds of bullets from a bus owned by Nur Hossain, the prime accused of the abduction and murder of seven people in Narayanganj.
Siddhirganj police station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Alauddin has told the Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday.
He said: “Acting on a tip-off, police have recovered three revolvers, one pistol and seven bullets from under a seat of a bus of ABS Paribahan at Tekpara in Shimrail at 1am on Tuesday.”
A case has been filed against Nur Hossain and bus driver Mohidullah in this connection, he added.
The bus has been left on the ground at Tekpara of Shimrail after the bodies of seven people including Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam were recovered from Shitalakkhya river.
