A total of eleven Bangladeshi youths have returned home after serving two and a half years in Indian jail.
Indian immigration police handed over the eleven Bangladeshi youths to Benapole immigration police on Sunday evening, Jahangir Hossain, officer in-charge of Benapole immigration police, said.
The youths, hailing from Satkhira district, went to India illegally in search of better jobs.
They are Yusuf Ali, 27, Mizanur Rahman, Alamgir Hossain, 25, Golam Mostafa, 25, Bakul Hasan, 30, Akbar Ali, 27, Nazmul Hossain, 30, M Mamun, 29, Mamin Uddin, 23, Sarwar Hossain, 22 and Syed Ali, 24.
They had been arrested by the Indian police and were sent to Kerala Central Jail, said the OC.
