The government has to take responsibility of the Narayanganj and Feni murders, Communications Minister Obaidul Quader has said.
“We must take responsibility of the murders and find out the truth behind these killings and bring the culprits to book,” he said in Cox's Bazar on Saturday.
The minister was speaking after visiting the construction work of Cox's Bazar-Teknaf marine drive road in Ukhia upazila, what he said will be completed by 2015.
Regarding the “leaked” phone conversation between Shamim Osman and Nur Hossain, the minister said measures would be taken if “found guilty.”
“There is no question of letting anyone go because of party affiliation.”
Planning Minister AHM Mostafa Kamal was also present with Obaidul Quader at the spot.
