A Narayanganj court has placed two aides of Nur Hossain, the prime accused of the seven-murder case, on two-day remand each on Monday.
They are—Shahadat Hossain Shipon, 30 and Joha.
The court of Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Ishtiak Ahmed Siddique passed the order after the accused were produced before the court with five-day remand pleas.
On Sunday night, the locals caught Shipon and Joha from Kadamtoli area and handed them over to police after a mob beating.
Later, they were shown arrested under section 54 and produced before the court on Monday afternoon.
A total of 27 persons so far have been placed on remands under section 54 in the seven-murder case.
