BCL leader, Jubo League man shot dead

Two activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League and Jubo League - student and youth affiliates of the ruling Awami League - have been shot dead in Lakshmipur Sadar upazila. 

One of the deceased has been identified as Abu Noman, 30, vice president of Chandraganj union Chhatra League and son of Abu Sufian from Lakshmipur Sadar. Read full story

The sixth and the final phase of the upazila parishad polls in 12 upazilas is underway on Monday.
