At least two people have been killed and six others injured as a bus rammed down a tempo at Kathgola area on Mymensingh-Tangail highway on Monday morning.
The deceased are Sajeeb, 27, son of Osman Ali of Shohortoli Taltola area and Rezaul Karim, 35, son of Abdul Mannan of Rahmatpur area.
Kotwali Model police station Officer-in-Charge Rezaul Karim said: “A Tangail-bound bus rammed down a tempo coming from the opposite direction at Kathgola area around 7am, injuring all the eight passengers of the tempo.”
“The injured were taken to Mymensigh Medical College Hospital where two of them succumbed to their injuries,” he said.
