Robert Pattinson is apparently preparing to launch his music career. The 28-year-old British star rose to fame as the broody vampire Edward Cullen from the “Twilight” film franchise.
But the actor’s purported pal Brady Corbet tells UK newspaper The Sun, fans will see Robert shift direction in his career in the not too distant future. “He’s been busy producing his first album, which will be coming out soon,” Brady said.
The album wouldn’t be Rob’s first time behind the mic. He has previously recorded two songs for the Twilight soundtrack titled “Never Think and Let Me Sign.” As The Sun reports, Rob recently said that till now he never took his music very seriously.
Rumours of an album from the actor surfaced earlier this year. A source told HollywoodLife.com some big names were working on the project.
Robert had jetted into Nice for the 67th annual Cannes Film Festival on Friday, but his friend Brady Corbet has revealed that his Hollywood pal has been busy in the studio. Last year, he started working with one of the top songwriters in the industry. They hope to produce and record a hit single when they are finished, along with an entire album. Rob has yet to comment on the latest claims.
