2 bodies recovered in Barisal

Police have recovered bodies of two missing people in Barisal on Tuesday.

Shakhawat Hossain, Kotwali police station Officer-in-Charge, said police recovered body of Moslemuddin Mia, 40, an auto rickshaw driver of Ward-26 of the city on Tuesday morning from Kirtankhola River.

Moslem went missing while taking bath on Saturday afternoon.

Hizla police have recovered another body of Delwar Hossain Rari, 26, a fisherman, from Meghna River.

Shawkat Anwar, Hizla police station officer-in charge told the Dhaka Tribune that the body was sent to Barisal Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police sources said Delwar Rari, Hanif Sardar and Abdul Gani were injured in a clash between rival groups of fishermen over setting nets in the river early Sunday.

Among the injured Delwar went missing after the incident.
