The Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examinations will be held on Wednesday amid general strike called by Jamaat-e-Islami in Chittagong division.
Jamaat-e-Islami Chittagong city unit acting general secretary M Ahsanullah has told the Dhaka Tribune.
He said: “The HSC examinations scheduled for Wednesday will remain out of the purview of the hartal.”
Chittagong Education Board Examination Controller Dr Pijush Dutt said: “The scheduled HSC and equivalent examinations for Wednesday will be administered smoothly as per education board direction.”
