Abdus Salam, brother of Narayanganj city Ward Counsillor Nazrul Islam, has requested the investigation committee to hold the next public hearing in Siddhirganj.
He made the request to the committee at the circuit house on Monday afternoon.
Abdus Slam told the probe body that the people of Siddhirganj are feeling insecure to come in Narayanganj.
“Moreover, most people are avoiding the deposition in fear of being recorded by the television camera,” he said.
A total of 10 persons have given deposition before the high-powered probe body so far over the abductions and killings of seven persons in Narayanganj.
The hearing began around 11am and ended at 4pm at Narayanganj Circuit House. The hearing will resume on Thursday.
