Police have arrested two more suspects allegedly involved in Narayanganj killing from Begumganj area in Noakhali on Saturday night.
The arrestees have been identified as Mohibullah Aka Mofiz and his brother-in-law Samrat.
Narayanganj’s Superintendent of Police (SP) Khandaker Muhid Uddin made the disclosure in a press briefing on Sunday afternoon.
However, the SP did not disclose any details over the arrest.
Asked about the HC directives, he said: “We will work as per the directives of the High Court.”
On May 8, police arrested three persons from Narshingdi in connection with the Narayanganj abduction and killing.
