State Minister for Home Asaduzzaman Khan yesterday said the persons accused in seven murders in Narayanganj would be arrested in a day or two.
“You will see in a day or two that the accused are arrested,” Asaduzzaman Khan told the Dhaka Tribune over phone on Friday.

“We have already changed top level officials of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 and more change to come in the lower tier soon,” the state minister said.
Twelve days into the abduction and killings of seven people in Narayanganj since the filing of the case against five persons including Nur Hossain law enforcers have not yet been able to arrest anyone of them till filing of this report yesterday.
On April 27, Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Hossain and senior lawyer Chandan Sarker have been abducted along with five people. Later, their bodies were recovered from the Shitalakkhya river on April 30.
After the kidnap, Nazrul's wife Selina Islam filed an abduction case against Nur Hossain, vice-president of Siddhirganj Thana Awami League unit, General Secretary Hazi Yasin and four others the next day. Nur Hossain is now absconding.
